$225,000 Trip and Fall Settlement

Mrs. B was attending a Christian contemporary concert at Jobing.Com arena in Phoenix Arizona.  While at the concert, Mrs. B tripped and fell in an area where there was no floor covering or a warning that the floor was uneven.  As a result of the fall, Mrs. B suffered a right hip fracture that necessitated surgery.

The management company for Jobing.Com arena tried to argue that Mrs. B was at fault for the trip and fall accident as she was not paying attention to where she was walking.  During the litigation, Mrs. B’s attorneys were able to show that the management company was at fault for the uneven floor and they new about the dangerous condition and failed to warn patrons about the condition.  The case was favorably resolved for Mrs. B at a private mediation.
